The Hotel Marítim is anaccommodationthatworkseveryday for a moresustainableplanet. For thisreason, in 2022, 163 photovoltaic panels wereinstalled in order to achieveenergy self-sufficiency. Thisproject is part of theProgramme of Incentives linked to self-consumptionandconsumption, with a renewableenergysourceandtheimplementation of renewablethermalsystems, withintheframework of theEuropeanRecovery, TransformationandResiliencePlan, financedbytheEuropeanFund - NextGeneration EU.
In addition, andfollowing in ourline of sustainability, atthebeginning of 2023, wewillreplacetheheatingsystem of fossil fuel, for a system of Aerothermics. Thisincludesthecoolingand/or scalding of ourinstallationsandtherecovery of the residual heatfromthemachinesthemselves to convertitintoenergy for thescalding of thehotwater, thusachievinganexcellentlevel of sustainability.
For theseactionswehavereceivedrecognitionfromtheGrupo Habitat Futura, awarding us theRe Think Hotelprize for one of the best projects in sustainabilityand hotel refurbishment, bothat regional andnationallevel.
