Marítim Hotel is an accommodation that works every day for a more sustainable planet. For this reason, in 2022, 163 photovoltaic panels were installed, to bring us closer to energy self-sufficiency. Project, under the Incentive Program linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources and implementation of renewable thermal systems, within the framework of the European Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Fund – Next Generation EU
In addition, and continuing in our line of sustainability, at the beginning of 2023, we will replace the fossil fuel heating system with an Aerothermal system. Which includes the cooling and/or heating of our facilities and the recovery of residual heat from the machines themselves to convert it into energy for heating DHW; thus achieving an excellent degree of sustainability.
For these actions we have received recognition from the Habitat Futura Group, granting us the Re THink Hotel award for one of the best sustainability and hotel rehabilitation projects, both at the regional level and at the state level.
At Hotel Marítim in Roses we want to promote responsible and sustainable tourism. We have a sustainability certification from Biosphere Sustainable. We have already implemented various actions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, including:

Following the renovations, Hotel Marítim has obtained the highest energy rating (A), which accredits the efficiency and sustainability of our facilities.
This achievement reflects our commitment to reducing energy consumption, optimizing resources and protecting the environment, without sacrificing the comfort and well-being of our guests.
Each improvement implemented, from more efficient air conditioning systems to better thermal and light insulation, brings us closer to a responsible hotel model, aligned with the objectives of sustainability and respect for the environment.
At Hotel Marítim we collaborate with the Caretta a la Vista project, an initiative linked to the Life EcoAdapt50 program, dedicated to the conservation of the Caretta turtle and the protection of the Mediterranean marine ecosystem.
Being part of this project allows us to actively contribute to the preservation of marine biodiversity and raising awareness about caring for the natural environment, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.
